讓複雜的諮詢表單更容易填下去
詳細的諮詢表單需要說明為什麼問這些問題，以及接下來會發生什麼。
本篇一線筆記以英文發佈。
A detailed enquiry form needs to explain why it is asking questions and what happens next. The interface should help someone understand the process without making assumptions about their circumstances.
Group related questions
Organise the form around understandable topics. Keep the current section clear and explain unusual terms close to the field where they appear. Avoid requiring information before it is useful to the current step.
Preserve progress
Validation should help someone correct a specific problem without losing the rest of their answers. Keep entered information when moving between steps and make the difference between required and optional fields visible. Provide a clear way to review the information before submission.
Set honest expectations
Explain what submitting the form does and who handles the next stage. Keep any specialist terms and disclosures with the appropriate responsible source. A form should support an informed enquiry, with a confirmation state that describes the next step instead of implying an outcome that has not been decided.
