Manual deploys are where Friday releases come from. Without pipelines, environments and rollback, every release is an act of courage, staging drifts from production, and nobody knows which config change broke what.

We set up CI/CD on GitHub Actions with environment promotion, preview deploys per pull request, secrets management and infrastructure as code on Terraform — then document the release process so it survives the person who set it up leaving. Monitoring and alerting come before the second deploy, not after the first incident.
